Character Name: Habashira Rui

Affiliation: The Cimarron League.
Superpower:None to speak of. However, with his long arms Rui can easily intercept passes and snatch up the nearest aspiring gopher candidate to harass; especially if they confront him and then try to run. Intimidating by nature, it's rumored he can silence a child's cries just by approaching a crowd.
History:
A refugee by nature, Rui had been abducted by Yucca Mountain Scientists when they caught him bullying a pedestrian for money. When the man tried to escape he’d whipped his arm out to intercept him and had reeled him in like pulling a fish out of water. This show of technique had misled the scientists to believe that Rui was one of the many mutants that they had been experimenting on.
Intrigued, they cornered him and hauled him off to the Yucca Mountain Research facility where experiments were conducted on the young man to try and gain more information about the display they had previously witnessed.
Furious that these dunderheads had mistaken him for a mutant, Rui lashed out angrily and verbally abused the scientist in retaliation. After his fists met a duo of diaphragms they eventually released him and gave the man his due; however, instead of moving into the lush facilities that Yucca Mountain had to offer, Rui stumbled upon a rundown asylum and called it home. The air reeked due to the waste facility right in his backyard, but that only made the surroundings all the more intimidating which only made the linebacker happy.
Aggressive by nature, he often chases off trespassers with his butterfly knife and a bloody pipe or two as weapons in order to defend his territory and keep it free of civilians. The last thing he needs is rats poking around the facilities. Nevertheless, despite his terrifying personality, Rui is loyal and has a soft side that he rarely shows to strangers. He loves to show off on his motorcycle that he keeps parked in a rundown shack just behind the asylum and has steadily picked up gambling as one of his favorite hobbies. You can find him meandering about the casino and Jet Night Club when out on a night on the town.

“Hey, what the fuck do you think you’re doing?” Rui growled as he caught a rat sniffing around one of the abandoned rooms in the asylum. But not just *any* room, his safe room.
Just what he needed, another damn rat with its nose in the garbage... *his* garbage. But this wasn’t your everyday garbage that was free for looting-the punk was touching his goddamned money! Every fucking cent he had earned recently from gambling. Luckily, he'd deposited the cash he had earned from his confinement somewhere much safer.
“W-w-who’re you?” The thief squeaked as he turned his attention towards Rui briefly, fingers curling tightly around a wad of cash as the other held open a beaten sack.
“Dead men don’t get the right to know.” He snarled as he whipped out his arm and hauled the man up from the floor, golden eyes narrowing murderously as the degenerate blanched and struggled against the linebacker’s grasp.
“P-p-please don’t kill me.” He gasped out just in time for Rui to smash his face repeatedly against moldy tiles.
“Give me one good reason not to.” Rui hissed as he yanked him back by the hair and flicked his tongue in agitation.
“Well?” he pressed as the punk stumbled over excuses, unable to come up with any as Rui loomed over him and started dragging him out by the hair.
“Humph...suit yourself then...Just remember I won't be so easy on you *next time*.
Laughing as he secured the cash that was almost stolen; he heaved the punk into a dumpster just behind the waste facility and left him there with a grin on his face; pleased as he turned to head back into the asylum. After all, the radiation and fumes alone there would be more than enough to dispose of any rat, human or not.
